Carolina Lio is a curator, writer and researcher based in London.  She is the founding director of the organisation LOOKING FORWARD, London; curator at Visible (Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto and Fondazione Zegna), Italy; and Unit Leader in History of Art, Design and Visual Culture at Istituto Marangoni, London.​​​​ She holds a degree in Semiotics from Università di Bologna, an MA in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art, London, and is also a graduate of the CuratorLab programme at Konstfack University, Stockholm.
